| IDCS Course Structure The IDCS Diploma programme consists of four (4) compulsory modules and four (4) elective modules. Each Elective Module has corresponding Project work which students must complete. Modules are mutually exclusive with equal weighting therefore students can start at any time on the published study schedule. Each module is delivered over approximately seven (7) weeks therefore candidates working on one module at a time can expect to complete the course in less than 18 months. If they work on the maximum of two modules concurrently, the study time can be reduced. The aim of the electives is to give candidates the freedom to study topics of particular interest which will also be of benefit to them in their developing career. If a candidate selects and passes a minimum of two (2) modules from the same elective topic heading, the Diploma will be endorsed "Majoring in Topic". It is possible for candidates to major in more than one topic. When a candidate selects and passes one elective from each topic, the standard IDCS Diploma will be awarded.
