The
IADCS v2 Advanced Diploma programme is a fully modular course requiring
completion of eight modules (4 compulsory modules and 4 elective modules) and
a practical project. Electives are grouped into three topic streams allowing
candidates to specialise in their chosen area. Each module is mutually exclusive
therefore students can start at any time on the published study schedule. Modules
are delivered over approximately six (6) weeks and the project, which normally
runs over six months, may be started before the last module is completed. Candidates
working on one module at a time can therefore expect to complete the course
in around 18 months. If they work on two modules concurrently, the study time
can be reduced. All
the modules are essentially studied through a combination of: -
Modules are studied through the virtual learning environment web site. Students are required to have an Internet account to access the World Wide Web for instructions, which will provide the detailed step-by-step approach in a virtual learning environment.
